The next-generation of ammunition technology, known as Usel Caseless Cartridge (UCC), is a proprietary propellant that is fired by innovative electronics. The rounds, as illustrated below, have no brass casing. They are 56% lighter and take up 37% less volume and cost approximately 50% as much to manufacture as typical NATO M855 rounds.
UCC Electrical ignition systems have no moving parts (no firing-pin or hammer) resulting in much faster firing rate (3 times faster) with consistently higher levels of accuracy. Full capability demonstrations are available in Austria for pre-qualified buyers, investors, and for high-profile public relation events.
